Ball of A Time

Just came back up. Alright, giddy-up! Here are the events of the day.

I woke up real late, considering it's a school dat, at 11am. But fret not. Cause today's lesson starts at 3pm. Digital Essentials by Yu Yong Kin. Fashion Merchandising, the morning class, only starts tomorrow.

So after having lunch i was fetched to school by reluctant mama. Haha. I actually wanted to print out notes that the lecturer sent us last week (since my laptop can't open them) but i thought there wasn't much time left. (We left at 2.30pm and arrived at 2.50pm.)

It was quite cool. As the name suggests, it's all about digital stuff. Firstly, Yong Kin told us to go to a website where we could find out the differences between a bitmap image and a vector image. Pretty cool. Plus, all the computers there are Machintosh! Not bad. The school is rich. It was quite hard to navigate at first, but after a while you get the gist. After that we got our hands at trying Adobe Illustrator (for drawing vectors). It was fun. It's great once you get it. It mainly helps you to draw out stuff. A student P came late and sat down beside me. So i helped her do some stuff on the computer although i ignored her yelps of "help" at times. There was once i heard her saying,"Not fun I don't want to play anymore" Erm, no comments.

We were told to draw out the outlines of two graphics and after that we could leave. Then people start going off and i packed up too. In between the lesson i heard the people around me talking about going for SA(Student Ambassadors) after this. And as i walked off to leave and said bye to classmate E and J, J was like, "Oh, you're going? You're not joining us?" So i replied," Oh. No, they're going to Student Ambassadors", although obviously not everyone was in it. They were already waiting there before i packed up, and obviously they were waiting for the others to leave TOGETHER. Of course i know. I'm not dumb. Please stop trying that hard to get me into your estactic-ness and together-ness.Thanks. Really.

So mama came and fetched me. I took a lot of goody photos along the way home while lying don on the car seats. You know, the stretch of grass-filled areas along Tampines? Yeah.

Then we stopped at Block 308 to dabao stuff.

Home. And guess what. I forgot to buy didi's fish and chips! Haha. So he ended up sharing mama's mee hoon kway, and mama ended up eating some of my pepperish macaroni.

Yay. I love this subject. Yong Kin is a good, friendly, young, nerdy(I like that) lecturer. Nice. Relaxed course+unlimited access to internet. Simple and straight to the point (i mean the subject).

No more stupid silkscreening!

Death to silkscreening! (And batik printing!)

Bye.
