How's everyone? Hope you're great.
Today was much of a bad day. (Good days never existed since Day One.) We have our presentations this morning. So 9am we started loading in our files to the PC, which took a long time, and i was the last one to do so, not counting those which had problems. JN was one of them, and she was sao-sia-ing again, and she doesn't even know you should 'Open Folder to View Files' to see the shit in her thumbdrive. Argh. She thinks she's a geek, and i think she's more like a pig. Pea-brain.
Oh. And before class started, she was walking in barefooted and holding her dusty, plain, my mom's generation's heels. (Actually i didn't see the heels part.) Whatthefuck. Why does she ever have to go to such measures?
Irene decided to start with the person whose powerpoint is more, two more, three, and me. Shit man. I was so distressed yesterday, but i got back on track after venting out my frustrations, and i onyl got real nervous when the person before me was up in front. I just crawled through the presentation. There were some mispronounciations at first but i got better and more natural after that. Ok. Here's the exciting part.
After me was JN. She went up right after me. And she began to make a declaration that made me feel so proud that i have a clasmate like her. Ha.
Don't miss this part. This is the juiciest bit.
She D-E-C-L-A-R-E-D,"Ok, firstly, i would like to make a declaration. This powerpoint is really a last minute one, i just did it yesterday for the whole night.... and i think i sidetracked... blah blah blah... so this is going to be a informal one, and you'll be laughing a lot" Yeah, right. Laughing at your stupidity. HA~HA~HA~
And she started, which totally didn't make sense. She was talking about makeup. I don't know why, she just kept blabbering on, sometimes saying "I don't want to make this boring" on points that other people had said.
She was saying how everyone in her class said that in the past people were more conservative, and that she thinks that people in the past were very open, cause of the short hemlines and bold colours. While most of us had found out that the West has a certain influence on the trends locally, she thinks that there isn't. Hey lady, having different views is okay, but that's too much if no one really agrees with you. I don't know about the class, but i don't. I definitely won't.
She was speaking halfway, and she suddenly stopped, cause she was apparently was at a loss of words, and just said "I don't know what to say". Is this DUMB or DUMB? You can just "er", "erm" or "yup" your way through. And to think she's always been the public figure, talking a lot with no lack of chatting topics. Fuck lah.
Then Irene said to her, "I want to challenge you, JN(not her real name). You have a lot of information, but it is all over the place. I need you to pack up everything and summarise what you've got". Great. Finally we can shorten the misery and total awkward-ness.
Then there was one slide where she compared the present and the past's fashion trends. She was saying(about this picture of a skinny model),"The models now are stick-thin, not like me, you know, fat..." What the heck was that for? No penalty marks or whatsoever for demeaning yourself. This person gotta change a brain.
Then she wanted to point us out to something on the screen, and she walked in her heels, looking very gan kor. She was walking like a handicapped duck. You can just use the mouse...
And it was the end. Irene commented,"You have to arrange your information... Do you know that you almost failed?" And JN went back to her seat saying,"That's why" and "Oh, man..." after that. Oh, what a poor little vulnerable and useless girl.
Then it was one more classmate and it ended. Irene gave a debrief and applauded classmate A, E, and EW for doing great. Yeah. They were good. I thought i did badly. I didn't have enough pics and i didn't do the comparison between trends of the past and present. '_'
Sigh. I really hate it.
Well, honesty is not much of a virtue or of any help here. The lecturers won't be giving you extra marks by being truthful that you did not do your work dutifully.
No, she's not those kinda snobbish people, but i just hate her guts. I just feel like thrusting a knife into her belly and clean my eyes of her sight. I hope she's not taking design next year.
It's just too bad that she made a fool of herself for these two days. Maybe she's all along like this. But that only means she had been a fool for years. Pathetic. I've seen enough. It just comes out as time passes.
Now the bad guys turn into good ones, and the really good ones are turning bad. So much that they smell. STINK.
I hope they rot to death.
After that we went off, and i waited for Nicky, and we lunched with her classmates at KFC. Then the two of us went back to school first. And guess what i did. I went for Nicky's Macroeconomics lecture at 2pm. So cool. Haha. The big lecture hall, so cool, so... business. But it was quite empty. The lecturer began at 2pm sharply. Hahaha. He is strict, and slow too. And more people filled in the spaces.
Then at 2.45pm, the lecturer gave everyone a 1 min break to make noise, and chattering came. I took the chance and slipped away amongst the chaos. Hahaha. The lecturer was not facing us anyway. And i crept away silently. I made my way to CAD Studio. Digital Essentials is the coolest subject right now. My favourite. Cool lecturer, cool coursework(only 1 assignment), and cool Adobe programmes i find really useful. Yeah, the person matters a lot. PFFFFTTTTT....WAHAHAHA!!!
I left at 5pm, and took the bus to TM. Met Nicky there(she had collected The Cake) (we saw classmate G) and we walked to the row of shops, opposite the red/brown government building. She dabao food for her family. And we dug out every penny we had left to get a cup of bubble tea. Nicky was the largest shareholder, with a contribution of NETT $1. I was a minor shareholder holding a stake of 20 cents. =D
As usual the bus drives in when we just stepped closer to the bus stop, and we hurriedly got up. We were separated by a head, and i drank up all of the bubble tea(if not let it melt meh?) HAHA.
She got off, and i got off too. Then i walked to CP to get dinner. But i shopped around. Went to Metro, blah blah. I was thinking if i should get Sneakers for my brother. Haha. Then i stopped by Hang Ten.
I picked up a pair of baggy pants, and after trying i found it to be $69. What the TOoT. Haha. But got one-for-one lah. After browsing through the shop, there was nothing else i like(and nothing else as costly), so i told the other staff that i don't want it anymore. It's not that nice anyway, cause of the material. They kept bugging me to persuade me to buy it, and the woman thought that i only wanted that pair, and suggested i could take the cheaper ones. Crazy ah. I'm not that rich. They tried very hard to keep me. And the man even offered free membership. Haha. So i asked them about the membership, even though i've made up my mind. So i said i'll think about it, and scooted off.
And i discovered i had no money to buy anything, so i walked home. It was a damn cold night, trying to figure out this life. It was raining. =)
I reached home, and didi called to ask what i wanted to eat. Mama gonna dabao home.
Tomorrow we are going to M&M. Yay. I have to clear my camera of all those files. TIme to make CDs again.
See ya.
We got a new addition to the family today. =)
