Charity

Went to work at 12.30pm today.

Nothing much happened.

During break time i went to a coffeeshop along the line of shops at the bus interchange. I guess i was the only young person there. It's like a place for construction workers. There's this friendly Malay woman there who cleared up the plates and asked the customers if they would like drinks. I had mixed vegetable rice at $2. The stall auntie was stingy. But It's CHEAP. Haha. ECONOMICAL. AFFORDABLE.

Later in the afternoon this lady named Arlene came. She had bought a flowery blouse on 8 Feb, but the colour had ran. She wanted to do an exchange a few days after her purchase, but somehow it dragged till now. She wanted to exchange two other t-shirts for the blouse. I called Suet Ling. The discounts and sales are all different now. Somehow the customer would get a 30% discount for all the items she wanted to exchange. After trying them on again(she had them reserved for ages!), she diecided on only one piece. It was below the price of the blouse. So I called Suet Ling again. She said the exchange item must have an equuilavent or higher price than the blouse. So i told the lady that and she said she wanted to add in a $16 bag to the exchange list. I said no, because the bag is a value item, so there would be no discount. She said she had the member's card. But no, I said. So i called Harbourfront again. Suet Ling said that there aren't any discount for bags for exchange. So in the end the lady paid a difference of $11.10. She purposely said that there wasn't a choice(referring to purchasing the bag). Ok lah, bye. She took her VIP card and went off.

Luckily Gladys didn't come today.

At 7++pm i called Jason to ask him if i could change my off day from tomorrow to Friday. He said that it shouldn't be a problem. Yay! He didn't even ask for the reason. So i continued to tell him that two people had came to apply for the job today. I had told them to write down their particulars. Jason said to put the papers in the file to be sent back to the office.

I called Michelle for a chat. Haha. Talked about poly stuff while slacking in the storeroom.

Later I went to make a custom-made envelope using the stray pieces of paper at the counter. I copied down the job applicants' particulars to another piece of paper, complete with "Name:", "Age:" and stuff. Then i folded it into the envelope and wrote:
"Attn:Jason
Job Applications",
wrote "TM" at the bottom and drew a smiley beside it. Siew Foon went to add on the eyebrows and bugs teeth.
It's not a love lettter, Jason. Don't get a shock.

We're almost done with the packing. There're only the jackets left. Tomorrow.

On the bus home, I watched the Ren Ci Charity Show. This venerable and famous monk was doing a stunt of jumping up and down to lever himself up the ropes anchored to a building. Later when i reached home they were saying stuff about the monk apologising. So i guess he gave up the stunt.

I've just read finish everything in the TP package. Yesterday/This morning i slept at 4am in the morning reading all those stuff. Many things to do. It's complicated.

27 days to FrEeDoM! Hurray to Freedom!
