Before work, I went to withdraw $20 from my bank account. I tell myself this is gonna last me one week, or better stilll, two. I guess my savings had already hit the negative mark, ie. I had spent more money than my last month's pay could cover. Haha. But the balance is certainly not nEgAtIvE.
Wow. We had a blast today. There's was a lot of singing, conducting(a la band conductor) and laughing. Rohana is off today. No much difference, as long as there is ME! Oops! I did it again. HAHA. We listened to the new CD I brought there this morning.
During break time, I went to look around in Alano and This Fashion. I bought a striped tee at This Fashion and signed up for the membership card there. The temporary 'card' is just a stupid slip of paper. (Hope I don't process it as rubbish and throw it away. =>)
I changed it back to the previous CD. There were simply too many S.H.E. songs(i put in to fill up the memory) in the second one. I couldn't sing-along! All the e-s-s-e-n-c-e is in the first one. Yeah. So... Shi Yng and I played Bingo and hangman. Too bored. =)
We served a few Caucasians today. It was my first time. Shi Yng said she had already done it a lot of times. Wah. So brave. Haha. It was fun.
After work, while walking to the bus stop, this guy, from some temporary set up booth, came up to me. Before that we were already looking at each other, and Uh-Oh, I knew he would come talk to me. He queried,"Do you work at McDonald's?"(I've got to explain this. I was munching on fries. Hee. Late-night supper. And what kind of opening speech is this?!) I said no, and he asked me if I am waiting for my results and seventeen this year, or had turned seventeen. I couldn't understand at first, so I said,"Yah" He asked "Yah as in what?" I replied "Yes"(I thought he was asking me what "Yah" means.) He was actually asking me what I was agreeing on. Seventeen, or turning seventeen. What a blooper. Haha. Then I said I am turning seventeen this year, and asked him "Why?" Then he told me he couldn't ask me(what?) if I'm not above 17 years old. I guess its a survey kinda thing. Maybe he asked me if i was working at McD because staff at McD have to be of a certain age. So I said,"OK, bye", walking away, and he said,"Bye bye".
Alighting at my stop, I realised my fare has decreased to $0.45. It's the student fare, far from the adult's fare of $1.18. To think I've been using the adult's fare for so long. It had only changed back to the student's price when I had gone to top up money recently atthe MRT station. What the hell! It's a SCAM! S.C.A.M. S-C-A-M! It's a super-duper scam! I even went to top up $50 at a 7-11 outlet with a surcharge of $0.30! Had I known, I'd have gone to a MRT station to do it. I could have saved lots of money. DAMNATION!
YAY! I'll get my pay cheque tomorrow! I swear not to spend money unnecessarily again. Serious.
