Same routine. Took the bus. The driver was damn reckless. I mean, I have been on a few bumpy rides(no pun intended), but this was the worst. It was about the brakes again. First the uncle drives very quickly, then he suddenly slams down on the brakes. It's like the back of the bus was gonna fly up from the impact and turn the whole vehicle upside down. If not, its the continuous brakes-brake, brake and brake- when there's no need to brake so many times.
Then we arrived at a stop at Tampines. An elderly couple was boarding the bus. The grandpa just got on one of the steps, and the bus suddenly lurched forward, followed by an abrupt brake. The old man was staring at the driver for a few seconds. Apparently the driver didn't even look at him or apologise.
Oh my god. This is the limit, I thought. I've had enough.
And the driver didn't seem to notice that there was something wrong with his driving.
I think he must be drunk or something.
When we were about to reach my stop, i stood up and went to the entrance(i was seated on the side seats). On reaching the bus stop, i scanned my card and turned to the bus uncle.
Me: 驾车小心一点,Uncle.
Uncle: Huh?
Me: 驾车闲心一点~。
And i purposely dragged the last word.
I didn't know why i did it.
Maybe it's the built-up hatred after so many occurences of bumpy rides.
Maybe i just couldn't take it lying down.
Someone has to do something.
I forgot what happened for the rest of the day. Guess it was too boring.
Oh i remember. I had fish porridge at Eastlink during break time. Ran errands for the people back in the shop. Got lime juice from Eastlink for Shi Yng and Ice Kachang+colourful jelly from Sweeetalk for Siew Foon. Poor me. I'm always the one running errands. Stood in the sun and queued like crazy when it's none of my business anyway.
I went back to the shop and what i got was complaints from Shi Yng. She siad she was hungry to death and had to wait for me to come back. I yelled back, saying u had a hard time queuing for their stuff and stormed off to continue on my break. There was some anger in it, i guess. I mean, i'm always talking like that, unpolite and stuff, but most of the time i mean no menance, just jokingly. But i guess i'm really pissed off by them now.
Anyway. i went up to the fourth floor. I bought a tie from 77th Street and signed up for its membership. No discount AH? No use/useless.
Went back to the shop. Shi Yng went for her break in the storeroom. I thought she said she wasn't eating today? Diet and stuff. Later Siew Foon told me SY had told her to takeaway food for her. Well, not my fault, cause nobody told me. Nobody did!
I don't know what's happening to me. Agitation is the word for me, right now.
SF forced me to take pics with her. Said she wanna send it to Epop, the Malaysian version of teenage, to make more friends. I just made faces. Can't bother.
20 days. And counting.
