Work ended at 4.30pm today.

After that i went to take the MRT to Harbourfront. Oops. The train driver saw me with my Blueberry Ice Blended.

Anyway, I reached Vivocity and bought some chocs at $5++ from Candy Empire. There was some sort of Barbie+Mac event going on at the main hall. Nice. The set-up was gorgeous. Private entry. Shucks.

I went to look for Dano. There wasn't any sign of it around there. I took a brochure of the shops listing of the mall, and there wasn't a Dano outlet there. Maybe it's at Harbourfront Centre or whatever.

Then I went to PageOne. It wasn't Avril Lavigne on the cover of the Billboard magazine. And mind you, it's $14++ for a magazine whose quality is the same as that as your TODAY newspaper. A guy there said there was Avril on the cover for this Arena magazine. But it's 'Unsuitable for the Young'. So i didn't get it. I guess it's a guy's mag.

Then i continued with my quest of finding Pull & Bear. Still couldn't find it. Forget it. If i had continued to search I would be late for my date.

So i took the MRT again to Orchard. I walked to Paragon Shopping Mall, where i met up with my elder brother. Gues what. I was buying my laptop today. We went up to the 4th floor to the Sony Gallery.

Yay! The model i wanted was there! So cool. Vaio. Haha. I've long set my mind on this one. I took a look around while my brother asked the salesperson questions about that model. I joined in here and then. Then my brother told the salesman that I need to consider it first. Huge investment, that man said. Haha.

The salesperson asked if i mind the weight. No, i didn't. The one i decided on was 2.8kg, 15.4 inches. There was another one with similar specs but it was something like 1.65kg and 13.3 inches.

After walking in circles and looking around, I decided on that one particular model. Yay! I knew i would do this. haha.

So.

$2,499. My brother paid using his debit card(get rewards mah). What the hell. I was supposed to return him the money in full sum. Haha.

The salesman then introduced us to the basic functions of the laptop. The first start-up was SUPER slow. Then he told us about the recovery, camera and stuff. We received a laptop case, the adaptor etc and a free wireless mouse. I've to charge the battery for 10 hours for the first time. Hurray!

My brother was hungry and grumbled about sacrificing his time to accompany me to buy the laptop. So I told him I would give him a treat-KFC! Haha!

So we went off to CP, bought dinner and walked home.
