Boredom

Today is the second day of the Lunar New Year. We were supposed to go to the zoo today, but since I subconsciously refused to get out of bed, we didn't manage to go. It was my idea to go to the zoo because i wanted to see the polar bears, Inuka and his mother, Sheba for the one last time. Inuka will be leaving for a temperate zoo once his mom dies. Ok, enough of the conservational lecture.

So we opted for a movie instead- Jack Neo's 'Just Follow Law'. I can't figure out why my mother likes to watch JN's movies so much. Maybe because they're in Chinese and have a (weak) sense of humour. Thanks to her, we have never missed a single JN movie except 'I Do, I Do'. Anyway...

Wow, damn there was really a lot of people. The entrance was flooded with movie-goers waithing for cinema seating. 5.10pm was the time when the show was supposed to start and ALSO the time we were allowed to enter. (Haha. Not enough workers to clean up the cinema halls, huh?)

Like what I expected from Jack Neo, it was lame as it could ever be. But an auntie seated behind us started laughing like mad even before the show really started. Haha. Yeah, though it was mostly lame, some parts were truely hilarious. Like when Muthu, a security guard, got reprimanded for clamping the wheels of a fire engine, he sobbed and cried "I better go back to India lah!". Oh, you should look at his facial expression and his actions. Haha. Basically, I feel that this movie is good compared to other movies of Jack Neo. I just hate all those tear-jerking scenes in the 'I Not Stupid' series. Fann Wong and Gurmit Singh did fairly well, I would say. Although the plot is a run-of-the-mill one about the changing of souls between a man and a woman, i would say its worth a watch for a good laugh.

Yeah, That's about it. Have to wake up early tomorrow for my outting to the zoo! =)
