Going Back

Yes. We're going back to school again. Weekends are just too short yeah.

Today mama fetched Nicky and I to school. Nicky escorted me to 05-03 for 2D Art Fundamentals. We were seated in a semi-circle, like an inverse C-shape. Wilson, the lecturer, started off by briefing about the schedule(we don't have lessons every Thursday, but unfortunately National Day is on Thursday = one less hoilday. Aww so sad.).

Then he started to introduce himself, and asked us to intro ourselves. He went by the namelist. At first everyone started to say where they live blah blah, then Wilson changed the topic to making the rest describe the person. Okay blah blah... MY TURN. Oh gosh. There was silence. PURE silence. But when Wilson prompted the class, someone said,"She is quite quiet lah" and then Wilson said,"That is not very good..." I just gave a feeble smile lor. And someone(i think i know who) said,"She loves to wear ties!" And Wilson was like "Really?!" BLAH BLAH BLAH. He was quite understanding, and changed the topic after me. He said,"Okay, let's change the topic. Now you tell us what you want to achieve from this course". So people started to give their aspirations.

After that I went to the toilet on the 3rd floor. Then i came back to do the viewfinder. It's just this card with a box cut out from the middle, and then you paste a film of plastic over it, and draw grids on the plastic sheet. I did it wrongly. I actually cut out a box, not cut out the box. HAHA. As realisation hit me Wilson handed me a new piece of cardboard. And i continued. Through the lesson i was actually smsing, and i think Wilson saw it once or twice. Then after i cut out the box, he came by, and i was fiddling with my phone again. So he said,"Are you okay with it? Calculating?" I replied,"Fifteen by twelve right?" He said "Yes" and walked away. He is a very kind man, isn't he?

And we completed drawing it. After that we were to draw the same thing on A3 paper. We placed five objects on a table in front of us, and we have to draw on the paper what we see through the viewfinder.

The next part of the lesson, we were told to do pinhole drawing, where we poke the pencil through a piece of paper which would cover what we were drawing. Meaning, we were not allowed to see what we were drawing. I was paired with Huong anyway. And we "drew" the shoes. 3 in total.

Homework was allocated. A viewfinder drawing, and the reflections for the viewfinder and pinhole drawings.

Lesson ended at 11.30pm, but i saw many people still at work, which i can't figure out why, cause we were told to draw out the shapes only.

After class i went to look for Mich at ITAS. Had lunch with her and her friends, then i went along to their group meeting as well. They had this role-play thing which was hilarious. But very good presentation overall. HAHAHA. "Bus fighter" hahahahahahaha.

They rehearsed, and i escorted Nicky up to class at 2pm. And i went to Cheers. Now i'm here. CAD Lab. Not Studio. Over are the days of Digital Essentials. Sobs.

I'll be back at night.

Bye for now.
