I reached school at 1.45pm. H was already there, so we went up to the 7th floor first. Found books on Louis Sullivan, and P came later. We read out materials and borrowed them. I failed to get a bag haha.
Just in time for lesson. Watched a documentary, which is part of a series and which one episode was shown to us on Monday. Today's was about using art as a form of persuasion. Quite interesting! It cited Augustus, a persian king and many rulers of the past which used art to persuade people to believe in them. So subtle that nobody realises it...
Then we had a lecture, and watched a snippet of Chai Lai Angels, the Thai version of Charlie's Angels. SO HILARIOUS. It was so crappy and crappy but entertaining anyways.
After class i went to find Vernon, but he was teaching. So i waited outside reading the books, then 3 classmates came along. One of them wanted to hand in his portfolio review. So we went in together, they handed in their stuff, and i spoke to Vernon about the leave. Kristine Foong, the CM, sent us an email ytd regarding Block 6(not a vacation block), but the timetable for blocks7-11 will not be released until Oct. Sigh. And the week of 29 oct is the beginning of block 7. He says he'll have to speak to the CM and give me a reply on Friday or tomorrow. If the CM says "No", i can't go...
Papa and mama came to fetch me, and then we went to pick didi up before going to HG Mall. Shopped and grabbed stuff off the racks from Fairprice until the trolley is full to the brim. No joking. We had two trolleys, but the other was for putting detergent and the like... AND TODAY IS WEDNESDAY! HAHA. we had to give our own bags. BUT nvm. Mama donated one dollar and we're done.
We went further into Hougang to Upper Serangoon Road, and had dinner there. Papa knows where all the good food are haha! I wanted to go into the second storey chinese physician but it was dark~ (those kinda shophouse-like staircases which are by the side of the building).
Home. Fruitful trip today.
RS time!
