Yesterday i read an article on Life! which gave me a scare.
HAHA. It says that a study shows that people who sleep less than 5 hours a day have a higher chance of getting cardiovascular-related diseases. AND!!! People who sleep more than 9 hours a day also have a higher mortality rate. BUT!!! There is no link to a higher probability of getting cardio-realated diseases for those heavy sleepers. AND!!! A doctor/professor mentioned that it is more likely that sleeptime of more than 9 hours is linked to medical illnesses such as depression and some disease(i suddenly forget). I understand it as 9 hours and above of sleepytime for sleepyheads is a symptom/effect of depression/disease, but NOT the cause.
And at the end of the day, it is best to get 7 hours of sleep every night.
That's all for tonight. I shall get 7 hours of sleep tonight. Okay, maybe 8. Children need more sleep than adults.
There are playing some decade-old local drama series on Channel 8 now. That other day, Wednesday prob, i watched this show 霹雳红唇 which stars a very dewy-looking Zoe Tay(with REEEEDDD lipstick) and Lin Mei Jiao. Wah the show was quite good. HAHA. And i reognise a lot of actors/actresses from the past. Now i am watching one with Diana Ser. HAHA last time got all those 配音. The era of the HK directors and good tv. I used to memorise everyday's TV programmes when i was a kid. And comedy was better than. Tha Liang Po Po and Liang Si Mei series. FUNNY lor~ A few years back they try to brinng LPP back but i thought it failed. Sigh. Now all the craze is Taiwan variety programmes.
And I finally found out what is(are) causing te uproar in Myanmar from today's newspaper. Apparently it was due to FIVE reasons, including lack of oil supplies and the such, corrupted goverment and others i don't remember. I think it has made headlines that a Japanese photograher was shot dead there. He died trying to take a photo. What the TOOT.
