Kick Some Ass

16 August 2007, Thursday

Morning's class was spent displaying our work. We were to hand our stuff on the railings. I got a special place(Wilson said i would have one since mine was long) on the fourth floor, by the corner. HAHA.

I wondered if i heard correctly, when he said to someone passing by(he was down on level three watching us) that "This is a solid piece". And where i was the main one doing something to my painting at that time.

After that as i was securing the ropes, Wilson asked me to hang it over when i was done, excited to "see how it looks like". So the rest of the people hung their pieces while i went back to the studio to do some sketches.

After that Wilson came in and told us to meet outside in five minutes' time, to admire our work. So, blah blah blah, and i was (conincidentally) the last one. After that we were dismissed!

After that, around 12pm, we went straightaway to ADM Studio to finish up our mannequins. Nothing much since we've completed much of it the day before. We just did the concept board. I went to take photos, dragging the mannequin around to find the perfect background, making much noise. Then i went to transfer the photos from Huong's camera to my thumbdrive and selected three to print. Meanwhile, Nicky joined me. I went to Xorex and got them printed.

Then we went back to the studio, but Nicky went outside later, as 2pm came closer. Kristine started with the showcases first, then she went off to deal with some business, came back again, and went off, blah blah... I think she looked at our work the second time she came back, and i was away. When i came back she was gone, but Huong said that she said that ours was OK. YAY! Given the pass! Except that we had to add some lemons. And we did, and packed up after that. Somehow she came back again, and i was told to push the mannequin out. I think ours is fine; it has the Christmasy feeling, although Surrealism isn't much up there. HAHA and it was pretty much of Kristine's idea.

After that Nicky and I dined at Cafe Cartel, and she got a bag for her mama.

HOME-Y.
