Idiotic Day

Two hours worth of sleep today.

The formula:

Yesterday's hours spent sleeping + Today's hours spent sleeping < A day's normal sleeping hours

I went early to school today, cause i bloody ran out of white acrylic and didn't get it when Popular was still open(i was just too lazy to get out of the comfy cool bed of my parents' air-con room). And before that i went to TM Popular and couldn't find white.

Anyway, i drew up this background, and had lack of white acrylic. So i went early and reached at 8.15am. Cause there was once i went to the bookstore at 8.30am. No luck. So i walked to design 5th floor. The doors weren't open yet. After pondering a while i went back to the bookstore again. STILL not yet opened. And i went back to the studio again. Put down my bag, and went to the bookstore again. Opened at 8.45am. I went to get solely WHITE, but there was no stock. One kind auntie suggested to another that they open up one box which contains six colours and sell them separately. But NO, can's. So under forced circumstances i had to buy the whole box, at $27.10. SIGH. Waste of money again. The auntie 2 said they were re-stocking, but i didn't ask when.
And i went back and started on the painting. Patched up the blanks; did some touching-up. Most people were already ready. And slipped off to print the sypnosis after i was done with the painting.

At 12 plus i left after handing in my portfolio. I went to the opposite side to get forks and spoons. And after walking a while i found what i wanted. Not cheap, yeah. And i continued walking(this is once when i truely walked the whole area thoroughly), as slow as i could. It started to drizzle. Then i went to this red-brick building called "Tampines West". Hmm. Nice. It's been ages since i last saw a building like this.

And after some more strolling i went back to school.

At 2pm i went to class. We went to spray again, and when we put the garland back in place it just happened that Kristine came by, saying we were still stuck there, without any ideas. (Oh, yesterday she asked us if we would be better off doing solo work. I didn't think so.) And she said she's gonna guide us step by step. Which she didn't. We came up with another idea we were both happy with, and when Kristine came again she didn't complain anymore. She just fixed some stuff and that's it.

Finally we were done at around 5pm. Nicky came and we left(after waiting for eons for Huong to confirm that there's nothing else). YAY. I showed her my art(we've left all of them at the studio), and somehow we started outlining, then painting. Wilson was there initially. Poor guy. I didn't know lecturers have to shift and arrange the tables. Then he left. I painted and painted,(we took a long time to figure out how to draw staircases) and one of the helpers in the studio came by(he was this Malay guy), saying,"Still not done yet?" Then he suggested changing the direction of the lines to strengthen the perspective. And i did it. Soon it was near 8pm when we left. Wah didn't realise. Dropped by TM to grab some snacks and took the bus home.

Wee. One project down. Another to go. Sketchbook. 50 sketches, 25 quality, 25 quantity. OH my.

Now doing the Christmas Tree Folder. Sigh. Just can't trust anyone except myself. That's why all the work is left for me. SIIIIIIGGHH...
