Greetings.
School all over again. Design History & Culture (DHC). The first time i went into the LT for real business. The lecturer showed us a documentary about Man's evolution, form 400 000 years ago. Some nudity scenes (ha!) but it was quite interesting. I wonder how they did the make-up of the prehistoric men.
Then we had a break, when the tutor took over at 4.30pm. Devin is a joker all in all. But i fated it. The whole lecture theatre was filled with laughter almost every minute or so. It was very head-splitting. AND i dont god damn find the "jokes" funny. He just wasted a lot of time crapping and harping on non-beneficial and everything NOT related to the subject.
Anyway, class ended at 5.30pm, and we were already given out first assignment. That is, to take a photo reflecting the culture of Singapore.
I walked to TM, reluctant to pay cash on the bus(ezlink value was negative). Went to top-up, and waited for the damn bus to arrive.
Oh. What an eventful bus ride for ages.
I seriously believe that bus drivers of bus service 27 should be given driving lessons and anger management courses. This damn uncle(i think he was the one i scolded) still controlled the wheel like he was playing bumper car. I don't know why all of them are like that, reckless and all, but i've met one who is an almost perfect bus driver; he is also on 27, also driving the same route, also the same salary. Damnation.
And senior citizens need some education. One ah ma came on the sardine-packed bus even though it was sardine-packed. The last few were already hingeing on the edge of the second step and she still came up, stuck there thinking that the door could close. And it did, and caught on her bag. She was saying in Hokkien,"Cannot lah...", referring to her bag. The stupid bus driver opened the door again, threatening to snap the ah ma's hands. What a dumb driver. Don't tell me he doesn't know how the doors work? Then the ah ma, referring to the boy in front of her,"Little kid, move up a bit leh..." SIGH. What an unglorified side of Singaporeans. But mainly, those evil-doers are mostly the aged and some aunties. Education really means a lot. But i am not complaining about the aged! It's just a fact... very NE, but they are the ones who made Singapore thrive. Hmm.
Swaying side to side on the bus, another ah ma seated on the rear-facing seat but facing infront and thus blocking one-third of the pathway with her knees, a man addressing the whole bus on his phone about the "stupid bus stuck in a traffic", i finally reached home SAFELY.
Sucks. I'm still suffering from cough, itchy throat, running nose and mild headiness from an overdose of snacks, such as Bin Bin Rice Biscuits.
Argh. Please let me recover quickly.
Sigh.
