V Is For Vacation

Hey my friends. Today is Blockbuster Wednesday. More to tell later.

So. Woke up at around 11am, and i continued to watch Shrek 2 on the internet. And checked out movie listings as well. Then my mama dabao lunch back. So we lunched while watching POTC2 DVD. We set off after lunch, about 2.30pm by then.

Took the train to Dhoby Ghaut. I misleaded my littlebro by leading him to the North-South line, thinking that we were going to Cineleisure. But we were actually going to The Cathay. Cause apparently, according to bigbro, the cinema for Shrek 3 at 3.30pm at Cathay is better than the same one at Cine. Yeah, so we went. 3.15pm, and the show starts at 3.30pm. And we bought the tickets, including those for the show later. Considering we were pretty late, the tics were pretty good.

Shrek 3. Nice show. I'm getting to really like Puss-in-Boots, cause of his Spanish accent (woo~ senor Antonio Banderas) and his innocent stare, and particularly cause he's a feline. And yeah, Donkey doesn't look too good with a innocent stare. Haha. A pretty entertaining movie, I'd say. Very nice. And of course, there's the forever happy Happy Ending. "So much for my happy ending..." And there's Justin Timberlake voicing Artie too. Ah, catch the movie yourself.

Ok. Next up, we went to Somerset after having dinner at PS's KFC.

Pirates Of The Carribean 3: At Word's End. Okay, first words first. We were about to enter Hall 8, when bigbro was saying something about the wrong door, wrong side, and i ended up opening an adjacent door which showed a rollinf film screen. Oops. A service person was coming over and asking,"May i help you, sir(my bro lah)?" And oops, we got the wrong seats, when the movie was into about three mins of the show. Hahaha. D3, D4, D5, and we got them wrong. So we went the big round by the front of the whole block of seats, and went to the other side. Alamak. The whole group who came later found themselves with less seats, and i found myself questioned by one of the guys: "Excuse me ma'm, what is your seat?" I said,"D3, D4, D5" without even looking at him(or in his direction) and nudged my brother, and after a while then did he respond, and tell us that we were in the wrong seats. What a wuffle-bubble.

Okay. The movie was pretty enchanting. Pretty dark too. Very action-packed, from what you would expect after the two prequels. I like it pretty much, although there were so blur-rish parts and lame jokes which i don'tknow whythewholeaudienceislaughingtoo. And. If you are watching it soon, stay back after the credits. Bigbro said he got some insider info from his informant that we should stay. And there was quite a lot of people who stayed. We all stayed. For the TWO-MINUTE extra film time. Hahahaha. Ah, i finally got a new tie.

Next stop, Zone X at The Atrium. We walked from Cine to Heeren and to PS. The arcade closes at 10.30pm. We were 15 mins early. Ha. I contested against bigbro on Japanese drums, while littlebro played with Crazy Taxi/Safari. He got a lousy drum where the middle part floats~~ up.(actually we exchanged) So it was actually harder for the drum to register the hits. Anyway both of us got through all the levels(3, to be exact). And alas, insufficient funds. So we finally made our way home.

Reached CP. I wanted to deposit my pay cheque(my mama got it ytd), but the shutters down, including those at the escalator. So? Went home lah.

Home came at 11pm. Bathed, surfed the net. I packed the stuff for tomorrow's trip.

Woo wow I'm so excited at the trip. This is the first time i'll be on a train, and it's not a normal MRT train, it's a Choo-choo train! Okay, maybe not a choo-choo one. Haha. Woah I can imagine the subtitles "SHANGHAI, 1978" appearing at the bottom of the TV screen while showing me board the train from the platform. HAHAHA.

Yes. OOH. Mu room had not been packed for two/three days.

And i found the cages gone when i reached home. Mama must have fetched them to the 14 Auntie. (Don't be misunderstood. 14 Auntie=Auntie who lives on the 14th floor.) Rest well, my babies.
