Woke up very very early. 8.40am. Just to do the subject selection for the next semester online. So I logged on at 9++am, and i couldn't really do so, until 9.30am. Then i watched vids to while the time away while waiting.
Hmm... actually we were asked to go back to school as the CM, Christine Foong, would be helping us with our choices. But I'm so damn sick of that place that i didn't go back. Plus i'm TIRED!
Finally it was 10am. I pressed the link "Subject selection", and the page took eons to load, but only two black words "Service Unavailable" appeared. Apparently the server was too busy. I refreshed the pages for a dozen times, and sometimes the page would appear. And i would log in, only to find "Service Unavailable" looking back at me again. Finally i got through the selection process, but after i fill in all my choices for the electives and the CDS, it went unavailable again. What the hell. Twice. Finally I got it at around 11.30am. What the hell.
As i had done some research the night before, i had a rough idea of what i was gonna choose. For the electives, here are my choices:
1. Marketing For Designers
2. Visual Presentation Essentials
3. Multimedia Essentials
4. Creative Storytelling
5. Colour & Light
6. Model Making
(And i chose to take up 2 electives next semester. Wonder if it'll be too much...)
And for the CDS(cross-disciplinary subjects):
1. Italian(great but i can't be with nicky argh.)
2. Japanese(i was forced to.)
3. Leadership & Character
4. Fundamentals Of Management
5. Creative Writing
The choices for CDS were pretty lame. And Nicky just told me that the CDS for design and the other four schools are different. Only design. Why the fuck do they have to be so special?!
Anyway that's it. Boring day.
