Human Disturbance

Reached Tanjong Pagar MRT station at 8.30am, little to know that we were actually meeting at 9am. All that someone/whoever's fault.

Anyway hung around and finally all came and we
went on a five-minute walk to the Amara hotel. Got some leftover sushi FROM Edo Sushi to tide over the hunger pangs...

And we went up to the third floor, where Christine, the event planner, told us that they only need 10 dressers(10 models) and asked five of us to be ushers. Well of course everybody came here for the dresser job, but i think there's not really that much of a BIG deal. I'm gonna get beaten up for saying this, but whatever. Some human behaviours disturb me terribly. The thought makes me shiver. BLAH.

So Pearlyn, Clarion and two other girls came out for the usher job. We tied ribbons for the door gifts - paper bags filled with rubbish. Then we slacked around and went looking for the dressers. Pearlyn and I found our love of pledge in the form of two feathers from a red feather boa.

After a very long time there was a full rehearsal. Well i brought in chips into the backstage to show off HA! The models are like NOOBIES. HAHA they weren't used to taking off their clothes at backstage. They took goodness how long to change... We went to the audience to watch the rehearsal. TSK and there's the occasional horny glance since we were the only audience there besides from the photographers and maybe two aunties. WE WERE SO PRIVILEGED to be there. I must say it is a blessing in disguise, cause Pearlyn and I had so much fun.

In between rehearsals and the real show, we:-
1. Drank coffee and cappuccino while the dressers were slogging out and acted out a short skit like we were business partners. (Well, actually Pearlyn had a one-man-show.)
2. Got to know a ADM alumni.
3. Got a new friend the magician(my hia di).
Well, actually he was showing tricks to a uncle who was dressed up as a clown(balloon man) and we joined in. I asked him for the Number 8 club ball he conjured but he says he can't take it BOO!
4. Got balloon bracelets from the balloon uncle.
5. More chips.
6. Got a necklace(from the alumni).

After the show we went for the refreshments. Waited so god damn long for it can. All charged to the chocolate fondue and cake. HAHA. Then we took drinks from the bar and acted like rich people who go to Japan everyday for work purposes.

After everything we left for the Red Dot Museum. Walked around the flea market(i only got a knitted cockroach brooch at $2). Then went off.

The three of us headed for Clarke Quay. Eve got her flats, finally. Then off to Orchard. At Wisma, we went to Cotton On. While waiting(the crowd is insane!) I went to get Yan Yan from Watsons. I sat in a small corner opposite Cotton On. There was a shop under renovation and it was all boarded up, and there was a small mirror panel between the boards and another jewellery shop, so i sat there. Then a female security guard came and chased me away, asking me not to sit there and that "there is a sitting area on Level One". Stupid woman i was waiting for my friends lah! Anyway i went to look at fish and went into other shops before coming back. I think we spent(i mean, THEY) an hour or so there. Sigh, WOMEN! And i got chocolate all over my white shirt.

I can't bloody comprehend how people can tolerate SQUEEZY crowds like this just to get some shopping done. I'd rather rot at home.

Off to Body Shop, where Pearlyn got her first makeup - blusher and foundation. HAHA i only agreed to go cause i wanna see what she was gonna buy. Then off to Mango(i was sitting all around the place that i may be mistaken for a busker), where Evelyn took forever to say goodbye to her colleagues. And that woman spends like there is no tomorrow/it is the End of the World, man. LOL.

The whole day Pearlyn and I were singing and acting. Sigh. Talented people.

And i reached home at 7.45pm.

Goodness feet pain.
