Yesterday was an ultra long day, NO THANKS to ultra long bus rides.
I didn't have a wink at all on Monday night. Rushed all my homework out can. Not the first time. I managed to complete everything by 10am or so. Then i went to play games again. HAHA.
Ok lah. Then mama fetched me to school I left my FS at Level 5 Studio and went to bind my HOC. Wow thick and thin, all at $1. Then i discovered that i had not printed out the report! Thank a million stars that Bro was still at home(leaving the house!) and i asked him to send it over to me. I printed it and went looking for Wilson to hand it in.
Then i went to slack at the studio. Nobody was there. Irene came and left, blah blah blah. DO-RE-MI syndrome, one-by-one came. Eve came at 1pm and we went to her house cause she bloody forgot to bring the ticket, then went to HG Library before going on the train. The actual journey actually takes much much more longer...
We reached at 3.40pm, met Pearlyn, and hailed a cab at 3.50pm when the show supposedly starts at 4pm and we are to be seated 30mins earlier. FRET NOT, cause we had to wait for another 20mins or so for the show to start. HAWHAW. WHOOPEE i love China! Some pieces were really cool, especially those Chinese Calligraphy-inspired one. SUPER DUPER COOL! And it was the first time i went to a runway show. Somehow i felt inappropriately dressed, but NVM, i had my rock n' roll bracelets! MUHAHA. Cool man, totally A-W-E-S-O-M-E. Ok, i'm exaggerating. But the whole atmosphere and mood was really fabulous, with the music and all and the graceful walks(risking some wardrobe malfunction).
Up next, to Esplanade. Seriously we don't know our buses. Taxi taxi in the end. HAHA i actually got Esplanade and VivoCity mixed up. For a while i though we were going to Vivo. HAHAHA. Boring hell lor. After a while Pearl went to work and we went to take random bus rides.
Actually, it was bus service 133, supposedly taking us from Esplanade to AMK bus interchange. Got seats at at the almost-empty second floor. Eve read her book while i soon fell asleep. I was woken up somehow, as if my subconscious self can detect the bus attendant. He BEEPED the card and went off. And i realised the bus was suddenly packed to the max. Then we reached some Serangoon place, to Lavender, and i don't know where else, cause i fell asleep again. And i woke up again, and mama called me. She said i might as well go to the temple. So we parted ways at AMK interchange and i went in search for 262. The 133 journey was an awesome one-hour journey YAY.
I went to the 159 bus stop, but the digits '262' disappeared from the bus stand. GAGA i went opposite and there wasn't any either. By this time i had got totally drenched, and went back to the freaking cold interchange. It was there lah, mama told me. ZZZ i waited in the queue for the freakin' bus to come, and dropped off. Had dinner, and fell asleep in front of the tv at the temple. HAHAHA i was supposed to play a game of chess with didi but papa took over and i went to sleep on the chair.
After that i went to the car to sleep, and was awakened by mama to come out and look at clothes. This auntie named Lilian has some clothes from suppliers that she sells to aunties like my mother. HAHA nothing i fancy, i just sat there at the void deck and went to kajiao cats. Then we got on the car and mama said we are going to 大姑姑's pasat. Well she doesn't own the market but she has a stall there. She had called mama at around 9.30pm about a fire that had occurred. We reached there, and there must have been 800 or so people there, standing on the pavements and at the carpark.
When i saw the scene i was "Oh my freaking god" all the way. It was terrible. I just stood there and almost cried looking at the black remains of the stalls. Destruction, man. The firefighters were still saving the fire at the left side of the market. I took photos and videos(one that captured a fire which was ALMOST extinguished and roared up again), and walked around to look at what happened. The whole area was taped off by the police. All the action was there. At one freaking instant didi spotted a fire which started again at the back. Real fire, oh man.
Later in the car, Huang Di Cong from FM9.58, who was at the scene, said that he was on the 8th floor of a flat overlooking the market. He reported that 90% of the roof had caved in, and there were occasional blasts of gas cylinders. A witness interviewed said that the fire reached as high as 4 floors' height. Papa had talked to a uncle who is his friend, and the uncle said that the fire had spread throughout the market as quickly as 5 mins. Terrible. Markets are places where fires start most easily. The market at block 226(near the temple) also had a fire before. Old markets. Tsk tsk. And i feel sorry for my relative. Sigh.
And i don't know what kind of day it was. Monster passed away last night. Bro had called me up when we were heading home.
Bye bye Monster.
