VICTORY IS OURS. Well, well, at least for now. We have got into the finals for Millenia Walk's Most Hip Christmas Party Outfit Contest. Hell yeah, it feels so gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood, full stop.
I am so tired that EVERYWHERE and ANYWHERE is a bed. No elaboration/explanation needed.
Right now. Yesterday we stayed till real late to complete the garment. I slept over at P.O.'s house. Damn shiok. BUT, eh, don't tell people our dirrrrrrrrrrrrrty little secret. =)
And we reported at 10am today. Went through the rountines blahblahblah. Lunch ar BK, and off to the spacious toilet at Marina Square. Prepared our stuff, and headed back. Hmm, anyway, our model is P.O.'s friend, Jiayi. The pretty girl can catwalk, man! We are SO gonna propel her to stardom. Famous already lurh. Hark.
Oh. Something cropped up. They couldn't read the CD in which contains the song which i had downloaded illegally from a citrus fruit programme. But Danny, the organiser, got us this Indian-English version of La Vie' En Rose. Cool man i love that guy!
3pm. The show started. Went quite okay. And the finale, and this real funny thing happened. A 11-year-old kid was supposed to sing two songs after the finale, but got chased off the stage cause "we were all eager to know the results", as Bryan Wong said. Holy crap lol.
I thought it was actually quite obvious who was gonna win. Some groups were like more of the styling than the designing. YEAH. So, watch out for The Significance of an Egg. Harkharkhark. After the results a photographer was asking us back to the stage for a group photo. Then, some ten photographers were snapping away as well. WOW DAMN FAMOUS already lo~ Hmm. So, there are technically 6 teams of TP students in the finals. How cool is that.
Oh well, that's about it. I won't be there for the rehearsal on Friday 7pm, or the finals on Saturday, 3pm. I will be at friggin Genting Highlands woooooooooooots.
Anyway, we went to eat around after that, and to United Square blahblahblah.
And back.
Oh i am gonna talk about yesterday. Dresser day!
I got two kids, Michelle and Crystal. Michelle is 4 and Crystal is 5 years old. Kids are so smart nowadays. Those two were like bullying me, especially Crystal. That brat said,"Aiyo so slow i change myself!" when i was changing for Michelle, who was earlier in the sequence of the show.
Ha. I found my true self with those kids man. So damn enjoyable, albeit tiring as well. They were shy at first, but post-introduction and morning sleepiness, they were like crazy monkeys out of control. Tsk. And four of us dressers from Group A were sent down to steam the clothes halfway through. I swear, I was steaming until i almost went loony. Gah. Pearlyn, "at one time, was in charge of seven kids", as she says. Came up for a break, with the two kids saying,"Ka Sia, after you eat, can we go and play?". Awwwww. I was like,"Cannot lah! I very hungry!", all the while chomping on the kid-inspired food. That Crystal, especially, kept asking me to "go out and play" from early in the morning. Not long after we went down again. Damn boring helping backstage. I shall not elaborate. I can only say that it is hell of a giddy job. Oh but the clothes were pretty cool anyway.
The kids are so damn beautiful after makeup and hair. And. Yes, the show started, around 2pm. We were not given rooms to change. Kids lah, so it's fine. Whatever, adults change on the spot as well. And thus begun all the squeezing and chaotic mess. Well some of us had three kids so i guess it was quite easy for me. HARK for the second outfit for Michelle i actually wore the inner layer on the outside. That girl reminded me about it, thank goodness. Oh and her first outfit is so gorgeous! Complete with pink shades woah.
Ended, and amidst the commotion, i brought Michelle and her brother to their parents safely. Whereas for Crystal, she went off without saying goodbye. Gah. I. Am. So Hurt.
Went upstairs and took in all the food we can to satiate our ravenous appetites. GOT THE MAH-NEE, and off we go! And the rest of the day is not much of mentioning cause we were working on the dress and i was half-dead.
I'm done. I say BYE.
