Pop Your Bubble Wrap

Allora. That was a nice bath.

Long post ahead.

I got on the train at 12.30pm. Emo-ed the whole journey. Hmm. Not emo actually. Rocking out. SILENTLY. BAH. I am so in love with Boys Like Girls right now that i have been repeating the album over and over again for the whole day. Their songs are perfect rock-out songs. My NEWEST prized possesion.

So we were supposed to meet at Orchard MRT Station at 1pm today. We were gonna take photos for ComDI. I was a weeny bit late but that's not the point. I actually got out from another exit. Note that i purposely did that and it wasn't because i don't know my way around. And i came out to see the ION Orchard construction side. I wonder if it is negative or positive. LOLOLOL. Anyway the whole construction site stretched to the Orchart MRT station. What was there before the construction came? I think it was the place where some maid was killed and/or disposed?

Okay anyway soon i saw Wheelock Place, and the only people at the traffic light besides me were Bangla construction workers. I walked and i walked and i found Emily and Ain at Wisma. Then we went off to Palais Renaissance and then to Forum, then to Takashimaya where we passed by the station and found Ethel. Had lunch. I am a special kid and i have special treatment to a special fillet.

Then off to Paragon, blah blah blah. So we finally headed home at around 3 plus 4. I set off for Outram Park. CDs here i come! I was utterly disappointed. No Anberlin, no Taylor Swift. I should have expected. No wonder Singapore(and the whole of Asia as well) is/are behind the Western countries by twenty years. GAH. Anyway i did not give up, and i got Evanescence, The Open Door, and Green Day, American Idiot. I am SO not going to go home empty-handed. HAHA china imports. Love them. $7.90 and $7 respectively.

And i continued walking and walking. What do you do when you(self deceive yourself that) have hell lot of a time? You walk from Pearl Centre to Pagoda Street. Yup. I passed by People Park and went to Pagoda Street or whatever you call that, the place where the whole street is red and where the Heritage Centre is. I set off to look for the stall where i got the ties, but there weren't any nice ones so i gave up and u-turned. I think i got captured in same angmoh's film/video. WAHA.

I continued walking the other way, and i saw this familiar angmoh guy. He was on TV for some reason. Well, he owns a stall there, by the name of something like "Wuesterland" or whatever, some beef or whatever, and he has a giant screw through his head. I seriously cannot remember which show he was on. Another angmoh was taking pictures of him.

I continued and saw the Buddha's Tooth Relic Temple. I know this is sensitive, but the buddha's teeth or whatever is BOGUS! It was in the newspapers can. I went inside for a while. GAH i dislike those shiny and extravagant temples. Anyway i saw Maxwell Food Centre and i jay-ran to it. Nothing to buy. HAHAHAHA but i was just bored. Do i sound like i live in Chinatown? Well, i certainly know my places.

Okay then i walked all the way back again(i can really walk even when i felt my left little toe rotting), taking snapshots that sometimes risked my life. HP camera, just in case people thought i was a patriotic girl who loves her heritage. Well, i actually do. HAHA. I passed by the screw-in-the-head guy again. I had an urge to go up to him and say,"Yo, buddy. What's that in your head? Is it real?" but I DIDN'T. I am by no means a tourist.

Back to the trains. Reached Hougang Mall at 5.10pm. I discovered there were lockers near the entrance of Mini Toons. WHAT THE...

I got something from Mini Toons, walked into The Bluez, the newly-revamped-but-still-shitty Ice Lemon Tee, blah blah. And as i was walking towards M.A.D(the shoe shop) this auntie in her sixties came pushing the cleaner's trolley just opposite me. I heard sounds of "PIAK~ PIAK~ PIAK~" even through the loud blasting music in my ears and took an anyhow look at where the sound came from. No lah i turned leisurely to see lah. ARE YOU READY?

Turns out that the auntie was POPPING BUBBLE WRAP with her hands inside the bin! She quickly closed the lid of the bin as i just managed to catch a glimpse of what the heck she was doing. OH MY GOD AUNTIE YOU ARE SO EMO! Hahaha. I wonder what happened to her. It was pretty much of a rude shock to me. Goodness.

Oh well after the absurd discovery i continued on to B1 to look for food. Yesterday night i was so bloody hungry that i couldn't get to sleep.

Well my right little toe started to rot as well; if not i would have walked home.

That is all for today.
