Two days ago i was reading this article from MYB, The Straits Times December 12, 2007, page 19, "If You Can't Stand the Heap", about clutter in the home.
Oh well. I read on, thinking that it has got something i can relate to.
So it talks about clutter in the bedroom, family room, bathroom, home office and kitchen. I will only highlight the bedroom, cause it is the only part i read. HA! Here goes.
"Your bedroom should be a place to relax and shake off the anxieties of the day.
But if you are surrounded by clutter, it can interfere with relaxation and sleep. And a good night's sleep is the basis of good health.
Even common items like exercise equipment, paperwork and work-related items can attract the wrong kind of energy and sabotage rest...
Everything in the bedroom should be geared to supporting sleep and giving your mind a chance to unwind."
Now that explains why i haven't been getting good quality sleep since the start of the year. It all started from my ambitious plan to clear up my room. And now the whole damn house is full of heaps of dangy stuff.
Part 2. Something random.
To remind thyself of stuff i need to clear up this holidays.
1. Clear up the damned BEDroom. [Fixing of the radio included.]
2. Clear up the damned LIVINGroom where my magazines and newspaper cuttings all reside.
3. Clear up all the Digital Life!, MYB and Urban accumulated from 10 lightyears ago.
4. Clear up my life. (Elaboration shall be skipped as it will use up a lot of brain cells.)
5. Lastly, come up with some design inspired by some awe-ful woman.
And stop playing games already. Get a job; aim for the gadget.
It.Is.Not.As.Simple. As it sounds.
